Powerful and Quick Analysis

aggQC provides 24 different analysis tools all designed to provide you unique and detailed analysis of product results. Many of the analysis tools are available from the "Quick Tool Bar" icons that provide your technicians easy access to some powerful statistical summary and charting tools. These can be used to assess the performance of current results against historical data, and detect potential issues before they become customer problems. In addition, generating any of the analysis types is simple, because the search form used to find data for various analysis tools is intiutive, simple to learn, and is consistent among similar tools.

        Some frequently used tools are listed below:

    • Statistical Summaries - Provides a tabular summary of product gradation, quality, process and other types of results.
    • Histograms, Normal Plots - Provides distribution analysis, and testing of normality of results.
    • Semi-Log, Power 45, and Individual Retained Charts - Simple charts showing the entire gradation of product sieve results.
    • Run Charts, Time-Series Charts - Allows for detection and analysis of trends.
    • Multi-variable Charts - Compare process data against gradation or quality data.
    • Correlation Charts - Discover relationships between different variables (gradation, quality, processing results).
    • Control Charts, Cusum Charts - Robust charts to detect changes in process mean, and / or trends in data.
    • Frequency Charts, Frequency Analysis - Used to assess if a product is meeting sampling frequency requirements.
    • Product Search Tool - Enter a specification, and find all products that meet that specification at selected plants.
    • Aggregate Blending Optimization - Optimize aggregate blending using the automated tools like blend to minimum price, blend to target, or blend to mid-spec.  Optionally, use our powerful drag and drop visual blending tools for semi-log sieve charts, power 45 charts, individual retained charts, and coarseness factor charts.

Professional Reporting

aggQC provides over 50 different professional reports, including support for several state DOT reporting requirements.  The integrated support for multiple state DOT reporting requirements is key to improving staff efficiency by reducing double-entry and hence data entry errors.  Reports are organized into the following sections:

    • Sample Reports - Individual sample reports at a selected plant
    • Product Reports- Statistical summaries of one or multiple products at a selected plant.
    • Plant Reports - Statistical summaries of multiple products at one or multiple plants including key performance indicator reports. Also contains plant note and tonnage reports.
    • Customer Reports - Individual sample reports for which customer and job information have been assigned.
    • Incident Reports - Individual and summary customer or internal incident reports.
    • Setup Reports - Displays basic and detailed aggregate product setup information at a plant.
    • Agency Reports - Agency specific reports to support DOT reporting requirements. (AL, FL, GA, IA, IL, MD, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, VA, WV)

Leverage the Power of Integrated Applications

All of our software products are tightly integrated and designed with a familiar interface to promote ease of use.  aggQC is an integral part of the Stonemont Software Suite and allows users to manage all aspects of aggregate product data.  This aggregate data is then available for use in asphalt and concrete mix design development and aggregate plant flow modeling.  Application integration is extremely important for vertically integrated companies that need real-time access to aggregate product information to adjust asphalt or concrete mixes.  aggQC integration with crusherQC and plantFlow provides users the ability to link aggregate product information with crushers and flow model streams. This provides the ability to validate current flow models against measured production results prior to performing "What If" scenarios.

The Whole Quality Picture

In addition to managing aggregate sample results, aggQC provides additional tools that provide you and your organization a total picture of quality. You can create and mange customer incidents at plants using the customer incident data entry form and the related customer incident reports. You can record daily plant notes, which serve as an electronic journal of activities at the plant.  Plant notes are not limited to quality personnel but can be used by all plant personnel so that all plant activities are recorded in a single place.  You can record tons produced and shipped for either products or plants and then use this information for sampling frequency analysis.

Enterprise customers also enjoy the additional benefit of Automatic Reports, Analysis, and Evaluation tools. These tools are used to automatically generate reports and charts daily, weekly, or monthly and optionally automatically emailed to quality, sales, and operations staff and customers.   All the work is done for you.

Pricing

aggQC, asphaltQC, and concreteQC are priced per plant.  A plant license is recognized as an aggregate plant or terminal, asphalt plant, concrete plant or other facility at which you are performing quality control related functions such as sampling and/or testing and/or mix designs. In the case of collocated plants such as an aggregate plant and asphalt plant, they are considered two different plants and require separate licenses. In the case that a large aggregate plant may have multiple plants (dry plant and wash plant) within one quarry or mine they do not require separate licenses as they can be managed as one aggregate plant license.  crusherQC and plantFlow require an aggQC plant license and are priced as a single add-on to aggQC.  With the purchase of a plant add-on license you will receive both crusherQC and plantFlow for that plant.

Since we installed the programs in our plants in the fall of 2003, we have experienced very positive results. Rinker Materials (now Cemex USA) has utilized a database management system for acquisition and analysis of gradation data since 1991. In 2001 we purchased the Stonemont Solutions aggQC quality control database management system. We have never looked back. This system is now the preferred system for Rinker Materials. Not only does this system perform all of the analysis required by our Quality Management System, but also it is compliant with the many state agencies that we work within.  We currently run the enterprise system with over 100 plants on line. We can review “real time data” from over 100 plants. This information is invaluable for management of the quality of our products.  The support, which we have received from Stonemont after the purchase, has been exceptional. Upgrades have been a regular feature with aggQC. If recommendations are acceptable they are included in the regular updates.

"Our company had an established quality control program, but needed a system that would be able to take our data and turn it into useful information.  We found what we were looking for in aggQC.  By using this software we found that we could save time running samples and get immediate feedback whether our material was in specification or not.  Through the vast number of ways to analyze the data and then report it, we have helped our customers better understand the products they receive.  The thing that attracted me most to this system was the ease in which I could train our employees on how to use the system.  All of the system components are easily accessible and with the scale tied in, it makes inputting data that much faster.  The customer service we have experienced has been tremendous.  From the initial purchase and installation through to our suggestions for improvements, and then seeing those improvements in later updates, Stonemont Solutions has been a pleasure to work with.  In my opinion aggQC is the premier software system for the aggregates industry."
