Support for the Ohio DOT is designed around the recently implemented Ohio DOT 1069 Specification for qualifying aggregate suppliers. Find out more about aggQC Support for the Ohio DOT here. Support for the Oregon DOT allows aggQC users to print Oregon DOT Form 1792 as well as a stat-summary grid for certified products, including Oregon DOT Pay Factors! Find out more about aggQC Support for the Oregon DOT Here.

ENHANCED SUPPORT FOR FLORIDA DOT

The aggQC Florida DOT Reporting Application has been enhanced to support the new Florida DOT LIMS (Lab Information Management System) electronic submittal format. The new electronic submittal is an Excel file that requires specific LIMS codes defined by the Florida DOT. Each code labels specific results from a test result and is recognized by the LIMS system when the data is imported. The aggQC Florida DOT Application automatically generates the Excel format with the required LIMS codes, so producers using aggQC do not have to worry about knowing what these codes represent. The Florida DOT will eventually require all producers to submit results based on the codes in the new LIMS system. Make your transition easy by using aggQC! To view the required LIMS codes from the Florida DOT please see the What's New PDF File.

NOTE The Florida DOT has made changes to the Excel Format since we released aggQC Version 3. Users shipping to Florida and using aggQC should install the aggQC Version 3 patch 3 after they run the aggQC Update they received on cd. Patch 3 Ver. 3.

NOW SUPPORTS GEORGIA DOT 641 REQUIREMENTS

Since aggQC version One, aggQC has supported the Georgia DOT 640 reporting requirements. In addition to the 640 requirements, producers supplying material to the Georgia DOT are also required to submit 641 information. aggQC also now supports the Georgia DOT 641 requirements. Users can export both 640 and 641 data directly from aggQC into the Georgia DCS database application. Find out more about aggQC Support for the Georgia DOT.

Auto Reports GET THE INFORMATION YOUR MANAGERS DEMAND WITH aggQC AUTO-REPORTS!
Sales staff, production staff, and others demand much from their QC Staff. As a QC Manager or Technician, it is likely that others in your organization often request information of the most recent testing data for particular products. Requests are likely directed to you because you are the most knowledgeable about what information should be provided. After all, you would not want project data to be submitted that does not truly reflect how that product performs.

It may be the case that when such requests are made, you generate a summary from your spreadsheet data and then fax or email that information to the individual that requested it. Depending on your area of responsibility, requests for such data can often become overwhelming. Wouldn't it be nice if the individuals making those request could find the information themselves?

Now, imagine if that task could be completely automated. Imagine that all you have to do is to construct that summary once and information for those product(s) would be updated based on the most recent testing data for that product. Imagine that information is always available to your sales and production staff.

Well, you don't have to imagine any longer. With the aggQC Enterprise Edition, you can use the "Auto-Reports" feature to create aggQC Reports that will always reflect the most recent testing information. aggQC Auto-Reports allow you to create reports that will automatically generate every day, week, month, or year. These reports are then available as hyperlinks on aggQC Web. All your production people and sales people have to do is click the link and they are assured that the information they are viewing is the most recent test data for the product or products. How does it work?

  • You...enter your test results into aggQC
  • You...logon to aggQC Web (from your intranet) and create the aggQC Auto-Report Queries
  • You...set the interval at which the reports will generate (day, week, month, or year)
  • aggQC Enterprise Edition...automatically queries for test results at the selected interval and generates the reports
  • aggQC Enterprise Edition...posts the reports as hyperlinks on the users main page
  • They...click on the link and the report is displayed in PDF format in the user's browser.
  • You...focus on managing quality rather than shuffling papers and compiling data from multiple data sources!

  • Simplified Data Entry GET $$VALUE$$ FROM YOUR PROCESS DATA

State DOT requirements and customer demands often provide the driver for implementing some degree of quality control in your company. Implementing even limited testing programs requires a significant amount of resources in terms of capital investment and employee resources. Yet, the data generated from these efforts is often never fully used to optimize products, investigate and solve production issues, or to simply better manage product. With aggQC Version 3 we have implemented a number of easy-to-use tools that allow you to analyze how changes in production settings are effecting the gradation or quality of your end product. aggQC Version 3 contains the following new tools or enhancements...

  • Multi-variable Run Charts
  • Correlation Charts
  • Bin Calibrations
  • Automatic Bin Setting Determination
  • Saving Blend Results

Multi-variable Run Charts allow users to plot gradation, quality, and process data together on a run chart. This chart is useful for investigating how a change in one value is effecting the other value. For example someone might use the chart to investigate how the changes in crusher amperage are effecting the results on the #4 (4.75mm) sieve for a selected product.

Correlation Charts allow users to determine if a relationship exists between two sets of data. For example, tracking these types of measurements in aggQC could potentially allow you to predict the % passing on the #4 (4.75mm) sieve when the amperage on the secondary crusher is 33 amps.

The Bin Calibration feature allows users to determine the bin-gate opening for a blend using a target TPH. Once a set of bins has been calibrated, results can be used in conjunction with the aggQC Blending Application to automatically determine the bin settings required to produce a specific blend. These tools provide powerful, time-saving tools, especially if you are operating a fractionated plant. You can now pin-point the required bin gate opening needed to produce the final blended product.

Saving Blend Results is a feature that allows you to create a blend and then save that results as a Theoretical Gradation . This feature allows users to compare a blend constructed in the aggQC blend application to what is actually being produced as the final product. • New Data Entry Features
    New Data Entry Features

We have added a number of new worksheets in aggQC to facilitate data-entry of other types of quality data common in the aggregates industry. The following worksheets have been added:

  • Flat & Elongates
  • Lightweight Pieces (Chert Float Test)
  • Fractured Particles
  • % White Rock
  • % Wood

We will continue to add support for various types of worksheets in subsequent releases of aggQC, just let us know what types of worksheets you would like to see in aggQC.

In addition to the above worksheets, we have also added some additional "Auto-Calculate" options. The auto-calculate feature in aggQC will automatically calculate other types of quality results that can be derived from entered gradation information. We have added the following Auto-Calculate Options:

  • %#200/%#40
  • %-200
  • Soil Mortar 40, Soil Mortar 200
  • 2.00 mm/ 6.3 mm
  • TRACKING PROCESS DATA

Users can now track process results in aggQC. An additional menu item has been added to the quality test data entry form that allows users to associate data from a known process in the plant with the Quality Test Results. An example of tracking this type of information would be recording the amperage value on the secondary crusher at the time the sample was obtained. You can then use this information to track how changes in a process are affecting the product results using some of the new analysis tools described above (multi-variable run charts, correlation charts).

    Enhanced Reporting
