National Lime and Stone has been using the Desktop Edition of the aggQC software program for the last two years in all of our aggregate facilities. The ease of use of the software and the data analysis capabilities of the software has significantly aided our plants in their quality improvement initiatives. The intuitive interface of the different buttons and tools available in the software assists individuals using the software for the first time.
I just want to take an opportunity to make you and your staff aware of how aggQC has improved our business. The Martin Marietta Materials North Texas / Oklahoma District includes eleven quarries and encompasses an area of over 17,000 square miles. aggQC allows me to easily monitor the quality of the materials over this vast area.
This software has been a valuable resource for quality control, production, sales and most importantly customers! The reports are very professional and have received many compliments from our customers. The blending program has allowed us to easily blend to create new products for our customer needs. It has saved us countless time and money. In short, aggQC has allowed me to manage a business spread over thousands of miles with less travel and time. Rinker Materials (now Cemex USA) has utilized a database management system for acquisition and analysis of gradation data since 1991. In 2001 we purchased the Stonemont Solutions aggQC quality control database management system. We have never looked back. This system is now the preferred system for Rinker Materials.
Not only does this system perform all of the analysis required by our Quality Management System, but also it is compliant with the many state agencies that we work within. We currently run the enterprise system with over 100 plants on line. We can review “real time data” from over 100 plants. This information is invaluable for management of the quality of our products.
The support, which we have received from Stonemont after the purchase, has been exceptional. Upgrades have been a regular feature with aggQC. If recommendations are acceptable they are included in the regular updates.
Our company had an established quality control program, but needed a system that would be able to take our data and turn it into useful information. We found what we were looking for in aggQC. By using this software we found that we could save time running samples and get immediate feedback whether our material was in specification or not. Through the vast number of ways to analyze the data and then report it, we have helped our customers better understand the products they receive.
The thing that attracted me most to this system was the ease in which I could train our employees on how to use the system. All of the system components are easily accessible and with the scale tied in, it makes inputting data that much faster.
The customer service we have experienced has been tremendous. From the initial purchase and installation through to our suggestions for improvements, and then seeing those improvements in later updates, Stonemont Solutions has been a pleasure to work with. In my opinion aggQC is the premier software system for the aggregates industry.
Stonemont QC has greatly reduced the amount of redundant data entry we used to do. It’s great having all of our information in one place and the capability to use aggregate, concrete, and asphalt. The Customer Service they provide is top notch.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your outstanding support of the aggQC software that we are utilizing in the SC Area. Since we installed the programs in our plants in the fall of 2003, we have experienced very positive results. Not only are we satisfied with the time savings by our technicians in regards to processing and documenting sample results, we are also pleased with the ease at which our technicians have adapted to a computer based lab. Some of the techs have improved their computer skills through the utilization of this program on a daily basis.
Since installation, we have improved our ability to track data internally and share the information with plant personnel and management as well as our customers.
